What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you are gently “bathed” in sound using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, and handpan.
The vibrations and tones help slow brain activity, calm the nervous system, and support a deep sense of rest and relaxation.
No experience is needed - simply lie down, get comfortable, and allow yourself to rest.
Your experience in Rushmere
These sessions are held indoors in Rushmere Village Hall, creating a safe, warm and welcoming space for deep rest and sound immersion.
The hall is softly lit with fairy lights and gentle ambient lighting to create a calming atmosphere where you can fully switch off and unwind.
This is a space to slow down, release tension, and step away from the demands of everyday life.

What to bring
Please bring:
-
An extra layer for comfort – I lay out a yoga mat for everyone, but to ensure you are completely soft and comfy lying down for an hour, please bring something to layer on top of it. Another yoga mat is ideal, but a thick blanket or even a plush beach towel works perfectly!
-
A warm blanket & pillow – To keep you cosy and supported as your body temperature naturally drops during the rest.
-
A water bottle - To hydrate afterwards.
-
Comfortable clothing – Loose, warm layers are best so you can easily stay relaxed.
-
Optional: Eye mask – For deeper relaxation.

Beginners new to sound healing

-
Anyone needing a reset from busy life

A Gentle Note on Timing

What to Expect
-
The Journey: The session is fully guided. I will briefly guide you into a state of relaxation, where you will then be held by the sounds of the instruments for most of the experience, before I gently guide you back at the end.
